Barbershop Simulator is a first-person simulation game where players work as a barber and complete facial hair grooming requests. The main objective is to reproduce the beard or mustache style requested by each customer. Players use shaving tools, adjust their position around the client’s face, and remove hair carefully. Completed jobs are evaluated according to accuracy and speed, with better results providing higher payments. The game focuses on practical barber tasks rather than a traditional storyline involving characters or dialogue.

Customers and Barber Tasks

Players begin by receiving customers who request specific facial hair designs. Each customer has a reference image showing the expected result. The player must examine the requested style before beginning the procedure. Early tasks involve relatively simple shaving patterns, while later customers require more detailed work. Removing too much hair or accidentally cutting the client’s skin can reduce the final score. Completing requests successfully provides money for purchasing additional equipment.

Gameplay and Shaving Controls

Barbershop Simulator uses mouse and keyboard controls to simulate barber tools. Players can move the camera around the customer’s head, select equipment, and adjust the angle of the shaving instrument. Careful movements are necessary when working around the ears, chin, and other sensitive areas.

The main gameplay features include:

·         Using electric clippers and manual razors to remove facial hair.

·         Rotating the camera to examine different shaving angles.

·         Following reference images to reproduce requested beard styles.

·         Completing customer orders while managing time.

·         Receiving performance scores and payments.

·         Purchasing additional tools and cosmetic accessories.

After completing a haircut or shave, players select the Finish option to receive their evaluation. The results screen displays performance information, including the accuracy of the completed design and the time spent working. Money earned from successful jobs can be used to obtain equipment that provides greater precision.

Progression and Equipment Upgrades

The game progresses through customer requests rather than exploration-based levels. As players complete jobs, they encounter increasingly complicated facial hair designs requiring more careful control. The initial equipment includes an electric shaving tool, while additional razors become available through purchases. Smaller blades allow more detailed work on narrow sections of facial hair. Players can also purchase different customer garments. There is no combat system or separate campaign; progression centers on improving shaving accuracy, completing requests, and expanding the available equipment.
