My Horse Prince is a romance simulation and clicker game where players control a young woman who visits a countryside ranch after becoming frustrated with city life and unsuccessful relationships. At the ranch, she meets Yuuma, a talking horse with the face of a human man. The ranch owner explains that her unusual perception may be connected to being born in the Year of the Horse. She eventually agrees to become Yuuma’s owner and help with his training.

The story follows the developing relationship between the protagonist and Yuuma as they spend time together at the ranch. Yuuma participates in training activities, prepares for horse races, and interacts with the protagonist through conversations. The ranch owner, known as Oji-san, provides explanations and appears during different events. As the chapters progress, the protagonist begins developing romantic feelings for Yuuma despite his unusual appearance.

Gameplay and Interaction Mechanics

My Horse Prince combines dialogue choices with repetitive tapping mechanics. During each chapter, players collect objects appearing on the screen to earn points and increase their relationship progress. The number of points received depends on Yuuma’s remaining energy. Talking to him restores energy when players select suitable responses.

The main gameplay activities include:

Chapters and Story Progression

My Horse Prince contains ten main chapters and three bonus chapters. Each chapter introduces a different situation involving Yuuma and the protagonist. Progress requires filling the relationship meter by collecting enough points. Completing a chapter unlocks a story scene and allows players to continue to the next episode. Finished chapters are recorded in an album where players can revisit previously unlocked content. The game has no traditional combat system or exploration levels, focusing instead on character interactions, resource management, and relationship development.
